The Makao complex is located in Konaev (former Kapchagay, 70 km from Almaty) and includes a hotel, spa, Asian and European restaurant, and a casino. A full-size stage allows for regular concerts and shows. The complex also includes the Makao Luxury Village, a recreational area with chalets, villas, swimming pools, a Russian bathhouse, and a concert venue for 1000 people.

The casino offers guests the following games: roulette, blackjack, several types of poker, baccarat and nu-nu, modern slot machines.
